EMICIDA RACIONAL VOLUME 3 - AS AVENTURAS DE DJ RELIQUIA & RLX
Another task Emicida gave us was to develop the cover for Volume 3, which was character-based and inspired by Emicida and DJ Nyack. The album is a remix of classic beats from Racionais MC’s combined with Emicida’s lyrics. Emicida created the first rough sketches of the two dogs, and Diego Maia developed them into the final illustrations.
I met Emicida seven years ago when I created a sculpture, and that’s how we got to know each other better. Seven years later, I found myself excited to create new sculptures based on the characters we had created for the music video. This was also a great opportunity to further explore the characters originally created for the early album release As Aventuras de DJ Relíquia e RLX.

EDITING
Editing was a key element in bringing “Quanto Vale o Show Memo” to life. The track’s intensity demanded a fast, energetic rhythm, and the edit became the main tool for translating the music’s power into visuals.
Pacing, shot length, and transitions were carefully crafted to move in sync with the beat and Emicida’s flow, turning the edit into an extension of the performance itself. Working in Adobe Premiere, the process focused on finding the right pulse for the film, shaping its energy and impact.
In this video, editing wasn’t just about assembling images — it was what gave the film its momentum.
